Salad Dressings

 

 

Caesar Dressing

Servings: 1

Carbohydrates: 1

 

  • 90 mls cold water

  • ¼ tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp cold pressed oil

  •  Lite or Celtic salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 SlimSafe sachet

  • 1 Egg

  •   

    Combine all ingredients in a small bowl or shaker container, slowly sprinkling SlimSafe powder into mix and stir or shake.  Pour over fresh Caesar salad greens.  The SlimSafe powder will sometimes remain a little chunky and tastes a little like cheese when combined over salad.

     

     

    Cucumber Salad Dressing

    Servings: 1
    Protein: 0
    Carbohydrate: 3.5

     

  • 90 mls water

  • ½ tsp lemon juice

  • ½ cucumber diced

  • 1 SlimSafe sachet

  • 1 tbsp cold pressed oil

  • Dash garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise

  • Lite or Celtic Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp Vinegar

  •  

    Place water, SlimSafe powder and cucumber in blender and turn on high speed to liquefy.  Add remaining ingredients and blend well on low speed.  Serve over a fresh bed of lettuce or other salad greens.

     

    Creamy Cottage Cheese Dressing

    Carbohydrate: 1.5

     

  • 90 mls cold water

  • 1 SlimSafe sachet

  • 2 tbsp low fat cottage cheese

  • Lite or Celtic salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp cold pressed oil

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  •  

    Mix SlimSafe powder to a paste using a small amount of water.  Mix remaining ingredients into the SlimSafe paste and stir well until smooth and creamy. Makes a delicious thick dressing.

     

     

    Italian Salad Dressing

    Servings: 1
    Protein: 0
    Carbohydrates: 2

     

  • 90 mls cold water

  • ½ tsp oregano to taste

  • 2 tbsp Cold pressed oil

  • 1 SlimSafe sachet

  • 2 tbsp vinegar

  •  Mix SlimSafe powder to a paste with a small amount of water.  Sit in the remaining ingredients until mixture is smooth.  Serve over fresh salad or refrigerate until required.  If refrigerated, shake before serving.
